MIM trains high-performance teams

MIM Trains High-Performance Teams

As part of its ongoing efforts to foster a collaborative spirit across its business areas, MIM Group recently organized an integration day. It featured a boxing master class. This experience allowed high-performance teams to break away from their usual routine. They also took advantage of the opportunity to share lessons learned in a dynamic environment that fostered camaraderie and strategic alignment. All of this occurred in an atmosphere of trust and positive energy.

“Boxing training provided us with a unique opportunity to enhance transversal skills such as coordination, focus, and cooperation among colleagues. Therefore, this type of experience reinforces our commitment to a culture of continuous learning and collaborative work,” emphasized Marc Fontanals, Director of Human Resources at MIM Group.

Employer Branding

In line with current trends in employer branding, companies that implement experiential activities strengthen their organizational culture. They also generate a stronger sense of belonging and increase employee engagement. According to data from Great Place to Work, organizations with well-established collaborative environments are up to 24% more efficient. They also have lower employee turnover rates.

During the day, the teams actively participated in a boxing session that fostered tactical cooperation and nonverbal communication. These aspects are essential for creating more agile and empathetic team dynamics. In addition to the sports activity, participants shared moments outside of the work context. This strengthened personal bonds that enrich collective performance.

“Building a strong culture requires much more than good written values; in fact, it requires real spaces where those values are lived, practiced, and strengthened within the community,” Fontanals added.

Finally, this action reinforces MIM Group’s focus on the well-being and development of its human capital. It also reaffirms its vision of people-centered business leadership and internal cooperation. Consequently, this is key to organizational competitiveness and resilience.
