  • David Quality 100%

    David Quality 100%

“Be a benchmark for quality. There are people who aren’t used to an environment where excellence is accepted.”

One of our symbols is David 100% Quality, which stems from the professionalism of one of our longtime employees, David Giménez.

Unfortunately, David passed away due to unintended causes, and so a tribute was paid to him by the MIM Group, recognizing his great work in the company. It became one of our identifying symbols, signifying a job well done, professionalism, honesty, and humility, and that’s how we identify ourselves. We still remember what David was like. He was a great person, always focused on work, happy being a professional. We learned a lot from him. We learned what it’s like to be a person, the honesty of hardworking people who expect nothing more than to be happy with their daily work and pass that on to others to push for a better world. We know that. Thanks to that, we landed one of our first major clients, an international retail company. He was one of the first to join our team, and we continue to hold our company values very dearly in our minds. That’s why we wear the symbol on our left arm on our uniform—left for the genius of people who are crazy enough to change things for the better.

  • Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM)

    Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM)

To coordinate the projects we use advanced software that applies the project management method of the critical chain (CCPM). The CCPM is a way of planning and managing projects that emphasize the resources (people, equipment, physical space) necessary to execute project tasks. It was developed by Eliyahu M. Goldratt. It differs from the most traditional methods that are derived from the algorithms of the critical path and the PERT, which emphasize the order of tasks and rigid programming. A network of critical chain projects strives to maintain level resources, and requires that they be flexible in starting times.

    How does it work?

Unlike the critical path technique, the critical chain method proposes

Take into account the interdependence between tasks and resources.
Rationalize the duration of each task.
In the critical path method, the delays of the tasks are overestimated to protect themselves from potential and unforeseen risks. Thus, to a task that normally takes two weeks to complete, a security margin of two additional weeks is added, thus increasing its total duration to four weeks.

The problem is that tasks are rarely completed in advance, mainly due to Parkinson’s law, which says that every work tends to stretch until it occupies all the time assigned. Therefore, the person in charge of the task will take four weeks to complete it instead of the two weeks initially planned.

Using the critical chain method allows you to complete your project with less delays and costs.

    CCPM benefits

The CCPM reduces the time and cost of its projects.
With this method, it quickly detects problems before they affect their projects and, more importantly, uses its resources more efficiently.
To guarantee the success of this methodology, it is important to train and support its employees.
The greatest advantage is the ability to deliver projects on time, or even before.

  • Introduction to APIs: The Mulesoft Approach

Introduction to APIs: The Mulesoft Approach

Every day we hear that we must evolve to the world of APIs, that we must leave behind the classic SOA. We hear about the advantages of this model and how developers can self-provide and reuse existing APIs. We also hear about how we can expose our business to partners through APIs, etc. But what is an API really? How do they be designed, and what do vendors offer to manage and operate them? We’ll introduce you to the world of application programming interfaces and how one of the leading API management vendors solves this challenge.

    What is an API?

An API (application programming interface) is an interface that facilitates access to services or databases, allowing the interconnection of modules and applications, facilitating access to their backend and thus enabling the reuse of services.

Through programming, it allows us to open data and functionality to other developers, companies, or even departments within the same company. Thus, it becomes the new way organizations will exchange data, services, and resources with both partners and the general public.

What problems do they solve and what aspects should we consider?

Connectivity: Their use allows for the remote connection of software components.
Technological independence: The use of a given API does not necessarily have to be associated with the use of a specific technology (.NET, Java, etc.).

Functionality: The generated and published APIs must meet a need and offer complete functionality.

Security: The publication of certain functionalities to third parties entails this challenge.

Scalability: Enabling services for use by third-party systems can lead to a significant increase in the number of calls to the system. The service exposed through the API must be implemented using easily scalable solutions.

Agility to change: As the potential number of API users increases, so does the number of possible needs/improvements for them. The architecture created must facilitate the evolution of APIs and functionalities, allowing for a rapid response that meets the expectations of the large number of users and allows for a response ahead of the competition.

Documentation: The API creation process is associated with a documentation and publication process. The goal is to have a platform, an API portal, where potential users can access all the necessary details for their use.

Access levels: The use of APIs implies a level of service provided by them. To guarantee this level of service, it is essential to control the level of access to these APIs. This control can be used to monetize the service, allowing for the creation of different access levels and, therefore, different costs.

How do we control all these aspects?

We can define API Management as the process of publishing, promoting, and monitoring APIs in a secure and scalable environment. Furthermore, the term includes all resources focused on creation, documentation, and socialization. This concept is the key to the success of an API platform, as it will provide solutions to the problems we will encounter.

What is Mulesoft’s approach to the world of APIs?

Mulesoft has one of the market-leading products, Anypoint Platform, which not only aims to be a technological integration platform but also promotes an API management methodology that facilitates the use and reuse of its APIs.

The “API-led connectivity” approach offered by the tool is a way of connecting data and applications through reusable and functionally complete APIs. These APIs are developed to perform a specific role by converting data into processes and offering different integration methods.

The solution proposed by Mulesoft includes the three pillars necessary for API management in a single product:

    API Gateway
    API Manager
    API Portal
Furthermore, by incorporating its own Runtime as well as numerous connectors to the most important systems on the market (Salesforce, SAP, Siebel, etc.), it also includes the capabilities of an ESB. It also covers the entire software lifecycle and includes a DevOps-oriented product approach.

The “API-Led Connectivity” approach is based on the generation of reusable assets and a three-tier architecture, not only with proprietary components but also using hybrid architectures.

    1. API Experience

This layer is used by consumer systems. It is consumer-oriented, facilitating and optimizing integration according to their needs. Furthermore, it is developed with consumer reuse in mind.

  • Innovating from people, the new paradigm for companies

Innovating from people, the new paradigm for companies

The main objective of our products and services is the customer experience. In reality, we propose solutions and execute them by leveraging people’s knowledge. We train people in mindfulness, and they have a schedule to address external requests and focus on their work. If a person experiences a distraction, they must be able to accept it and avoid it. They must have free time to develop their own ideas.

The procedures and functions are meticulous and allow for a balance between the needs of the company, the person, and the market. We expect people to tell us what to do. There are no secrets, the work is clean, and there are no limitations—only the art of engineering.

Quality is what the market is willing to pay, and our products or solutions are a perfect balance between price and benefits. By sharing, we connect with new ideas and find opportunities where we didn’t see them before. Sharing conversations with people beyond our sector or area allows us to discover a magical area, far from what we already know.

There are many surprises behind each person, personal stories and lessons learned that, regardless of the field of work or other characteristics, are capable of inspiring. We must use global languages, create open spaces, without groups, where we win.

  • Robomap transforms industrial maintenance with AI and digitalization

Robomap transforms industrial maintenance with AI and digitalization

Industry 4.0 continues to transform production environments; however, many companies still face structural challenges in their maintenance departments. Data dispersion, slow response times, poor operational visibility, and outdated communication channels hinder the efficiency of technical teams. Given this scenario, MIM 4.0 360° (the MIM Group company) and its Robomap solution are positioned as strategic tools to lead the transition toward smarter, more predictive, and connected industrial maintenance management.

    Diagnosis of the Current Problem

According to data and observations collected during the Robomap system implementation process, up to 40% of technicians’ time is wasted on non-productive tasks, such as searching for information, inefficient communications, or waiting for instructions.

In response to this, Robomap emerged precisely to address these inefficiencies through a value proposition that integrates hardware, software, and artificial intelligence into a single modular system.

Among the main problems identified in the industry are the following:

Multiplicity of channels and excessive non-priority communication.

Lack of visibility into machine status.

Shortage of technicians, slow and decontextualized training.

    High time-to-repair (MTTR).

Disorganized Big Data without relevant filters.

Absence of predictive tools to prevent critical failures.

    Robomap: Connectivity, Automation, and Efficiency

Robomap centralizes dispersed technical information and transforms maintenance processes through a robust digital structure. This structure directly connects technicians, machines, and supervisors.

Thanks to AI algorithms trained with internal documentation, the system offers automated assistance in real time. It also recommends procedures and detects critical deviations in operating parameters.

This architecture not only enables a reduction of up to 35% in mean time to repair and downtime, but also accelerates the training curve by 50%.

Integration connects machines, people, and data in a coherent and results-oriented manner. This improves both the efficiency and quality of maintenance services. In particular, the use of digital channels such as WhatsApp and Outlook on smart devices replaces traditional walkie-talkies. This ensures more reliable and traceable internal communication.

Furthermore, performance dashboards provide complete visibility into KPIs such as equipment availability, shift efficiency, and the percentage of incidents resolved in the first instance.

    Tangible Results and Key Metrics

Robomap not only qualitatively improves daily operations; it also promises a measurable financial return. Some key figures include:

Reduction in MTTR and increase in uptime by up to 25-35%.

Savings of 10 hours per week per technical manager, thanks to data centralization.

25% increase in operational technical performance.

Up to 30% reduction in unplanned downtime through predictive maintenance.

Initial technical training cut in half, with real-time support provided by AI.

Conclusion: The future of industrial maintenance is already here.

Robomap’s solution redefines the role of the maintenance technician. Now, this professional becomes an intelligent operator, supported by accurate data, contextual assistance, and seamless communication.
